Isabella's Trek for Rights 2025

By Isabella Tripp

Why I'm fundraising for women and girls in crisis

Growing up, I’ve always believed in the power of people to create change. My passion for human rights and justice has led me on many paths, but few have felt as urgent and personal as this one: joining Trek for Rights 2025.

Today, there are 614 million women and girls living in conflict-affected areas, a staggering and heartbreaking statistic. These numbers are not just figures; they represent lives uprooted, families torn apart, and futures uncertain.

From Palestine to Ukraine, Haiti, Sudan, and Afghanistan, women and children are disproportionately affected by war, climate crises, and displacement. Girls denied education, mothers fighting to feed their families amidst famine and war. These stories are heartbreaking but also a call to action. They are often the most vulnerable yet the most resilient, holding communities together in the face of unimaginable adversity.

This is why I am embarking on Trek for Rights 2025, raising vital funds for UN Women. Their extraordinary work provides critical services such as shelter, education, healthcare, and economic opportunities to women and girls in war-torn regions. These funds are not just financial support but a beacon of hope and a lifeline for those who need it most.

Together, we can make a difference, one step at a time. Will you join me in this cause?
